After three months of dating, country singer Taylor Swift and New Moon star Taylor Lautner have split, UsMagazine.com has learned.

"It wasn't really developing into anything, and wasn't going to, so they decided they were better as friends," a source close to Swift, 20, tells Us. "There was no chemistry."
The pair -- who met on the set of the romantic comedy Valentine's Day -- first sparked rumors of a romance when she hugged him at her October 9 concert in Rosemont, Illinois. They have since been spotted on several wholesome dates -- like their frozen yogurt date at Menchie's alongside Swift's mom earlier this month -- and have each coyly alluded to their relationship on separate Saturday Night Live hosting gigs.

However, the relationship officially fizzled when Lautner, 17, flew to Nashville for Swift's birthday party on Dec. 13, a friend of the singer reveals.
"He liked her more than she liked him," the source tells Us. "He went everywhere he could to see her, but she didn't travel much to see him."

Lucky for Lautner, the split won't inspire angry songs like those written about ex Joe Jonas -- who dumped Swift during a 27-second phone call in 2008.
"They plan to stay friends," the source says.
In fact, Swift -- whose friend says she is a "hopeless romantic" who "wants everything she writes about" in her songs -- will likely reunite with the Twilight hunk when they begin promoting Valentine's Day, out Feb. 12.

Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves have welcomed their second child, a baby girl.

He announced on his website Sunday: "Happy New Year everybody!!! On Sunday, Jan. 3rd at 12:13am, Camila gave birth to a healthy 7lb. 7oz. baby girl named "Vida Alves McConaughey".... Vida is Portuguese for "life" and that's what God gave us this morning... On Dec. 28, McConaughey's mother Kay gushed to UsMagazine.com: "We have no idea when the baby is coming! The baby could come literally any minute. We are all waiting and very excited!"

Carrie Underwood Says Ex Tony Romo Did Her Wrong

Country singer Carrie Underwood opened up to Esquire magazine, revealing what she really thinks of her ex-boyfriend and NFL player Tony Romo.

The publication asked the country crooner if her song "Cowboy Casanova" was about Dallas Cowboy quarterback, Romo, who had a very public breakup this year with another performer, Jessica Simpson. Underwood responded, saying, "No. I would never immortalize a guy that did me wrong. I would never give him that much credit."

The former "American Idol" contestant also offered her opinion about the outspoken reality show judge Simon Cowell, saying "Simon's obviously very smart. But he's not the smartest person I know."

As for Underwood's overnight fame, she says there was "no handbook" to prepare her for what was to come. "As you step off that stage, you're pretty much alone," she tells Esquire. "I've learned the most throughout my life from age 22 till now."

Denzel Washington vuelve a Broadway

Denzel Washington volverá a subirse a las tablas de Broadway. El oscarizado actor dejará Hollywood una temporada para protagonizar una obra de teatro en los escenarios de Nueva York, donde cada vez más estrellas del celuloide buscan refugio.

Washington representará la nueva versión de Fences, un drama que se estrenará la próxima primavera, y que a finales de los ochenta ya protagonizó James Earl Jones, la voz de Darth Vader en la versión original de Star Wars. Una función que fue galardonada con el premio Tony a mejor obra así como el Pulitzer de Teatro.
Dirigida por Kenny Leon, la historia de Fences nos trasladas hasta los Estados Unidos de los cincuenta, allí Troy Maxon, un honrado y humilde padre de familia que trabaja como basurero, desafiara el sistema y las reglas establecidas para conseguir sus sueños. "¿Por qué los hombres negros no pueden conducir camiones de la basura?", es la pregunta con la que Troy arrancará su particular cruzada en favor de la igualdad.
La nueva versión de Fences está prevista para abril de 2010 y forma arte del ciclo épico centrdo en la vida afroamericana del siglo XX. La última aparición de Washington en Broadway fue en 2005, cuando interpretó a Bruto en un montaje sobre Julio César, de William Shakespeare.
Washington se suma así a la lista de estrellas de Hollywood que apartan el cine en favor del teatro. Jude Law, Sienna Miller, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Julia Roberts Daniel Craig o Hugh Jackman, son algunos de los nombres de esta lista en la que la útlima en entrar fue Scarlett Johansson que debutará sobre las tablas de Broadway en una nueva versión del drama A View from the Bridge, del prestigioso dramaturgo estadounidense Arthur Miller.

Rihanna speaks: 'Love is so blind'

For women dealing with domestic violence, singer Rihanna has a bit of advice: "Forget about love."
"Come out of the situation and look at it for what it really is," she advised during an interview on "Good Morning America" on Thursday. "Love is so blind."
Yes, that wall of silence Rihanna built after being beaten in February by ex-boyfriend Chris Brown has finally crumbled.
Her refusal to speak about what happened the night of the Grammy Awards in February -- a leaked photo later revealed Rihanna had been shockingly battered -- was out of shame, she told Diane Sawyer on "Good Morning America."
"There are a lot of women who experienced what I did, but not in the public, so [that] made it really difficult," she said. "I just thought 'Oh my God,' here goes my little bit of privacy. Nobody wants anybody to know, and here I am, the whole world knowing."

Kate Gosselin: Dogs 'needed more than I could give them'

On TLC's You Ask, Kate Answers special Monday, tabloid queen Kate Gosselin says of the family's two German Shepherds that she "never intended to give them back" to the breeder.
They were returned in September amid the fallout of her divorce with Jon Gosselin. Kate said at the time "they'll come back, but for now I needed a break." But now, though she didn't rule out bringing the dogs back, it sounded unlikely, The (Allentown, Pa.) Morning Call reports.
"I had to choose between the dogs and the kids and the kids come first," said the Jon & Kate Plus 8 turned Kate Plus Eight star.
Even before they returned the dogs, Jon Gosselin released a statement to the Humane Society of Berks County, saying "Shoka and Nala are loyal companions who we consider members of our family. We would never do anything to hurt them."
And in the video of them getting the dogs, Kate says "I could go my whole life without having a dog."
One of the kids says "I want a puppy or a turtle."
Maybe they should've gone with the turtle.
